You can complete the work on notebook or copy paper, as long as you follow the same format as the handout, and then email me a picture or scan of it. HWG
HWG 1. Reminder: the Unit 5 Quizizz should be completed by the end of the day today. APWH 1. Reminder - the Review Video Outlines #3 should be turned in by the end of the day today. 2. Just FYI - I will be offering a unit test that covers Units 5 & 6 in the near future (probably May 4 or 5). I'm still working on the details and format, but it will resemble the other unit tests you've taken in class and be held via a Zoom session. Please look at the following things posted to my blog in preparation: Units 5-6 Essay Topics PPT, Vocabulary 6-8, and the Units 5-6 Review Topics PPT for now. My thinking, at least for now, is that your score will be 50% from 25-30 multiple choice questions and 50% from writing on 5 out of the 6 essay topics posted to my blog. This could change as I figure a few things out, but I will keep you posted as the assessment is developed. 3. Zoom session today at 1:30. Please join us to discuss the Imperialism DBQ. I will send out the Session # and password at 1:00. 4. Please let me know ASAP if you anticipate any issues with access to technology for the AP Exam. I am supposed to let the authorities know so they can help you. AP Testing Accommodations
Students will be able to take this year's online AP Exams with College Board–approved accommodations. Information about extended time, screen-reader compatibility, readers/scribes, and other details is available on our website. AP Student Communications and Exam Access Students will need access to their email or College Board account to take the 2020 AP Exams. 1. Make sure you check the email address you used to create your account on myap.collegeboard.org; students should regularly check this email address for the most recent information about their AP Exams. 2. Students should verify their College Board account at myap.collegeboard.org by clicking on their profile at the top right-hand corner of the page, and going to Account Settings. Students should scroll down to verify their information and confirm that their email address is the one to which they'd like to receive the e-ticket to take their AP Exams. If it's not the correct email, they can update it to an email they check regularly by clicking Update. HWG
1. Assignment for 4/22-4/23: Vocabulary Quizizz. Go to joinmyquiz.com and use code 216275 to play the Unit 5 Vocabulary Quiz. You may take it as many times as you want and it will automatically record your score. You do NOT have to send me a picture or screenshot. Just FYI though, this quiz is more challenging compared to Unit 4's Quizizz. You only have ten (10) seconds to answer the question and you will not be able to see if you answered correctly until the end. You score(s) will need to be posted to the site by the end of the day tomorrow (4/23). APWH 1. Zoom session tomorrow at 1:30. Please complete the following beforehand using the Imperialism DBQ on AP Classroom.

1. Welcome to Week 5 of digital/virtual learning! We are still operating in two-day cycles for work being assigned and then turned in for credit. 2. For those of you who are still working and turning in assignments I will begin offering extra-credit points for work that is high quality and turned in on time. I'm hoping that the extra points will help you reach your goal. It must meet the following criteria to earn extra credit:
1. We are starting Unit 5 (Latin America). 2. Assignment that is due by the end of the day tomorrow (4/21): Vocabulary Assignment. You'll need to complete two of the handouts using all 30 of the Unit 5 vocabulary words. The handout is posted in Unit 5 Resources (near the top) underneath the Word document that has the words and definitions. APWH 1. We are still in video review and DBQ mode. If you are not actively turning in work for points in an attempt to improve your overall grade then at the very least view the videos, complete the DBQ activities, and participate in any Zoom sessions that I hold. 2. Assignment that is due by the end of the day tomorrow (2/21): three (3) video outlines. View Administration of Expanding Empires, Cultural and Environmental Consequences of Connectivity, and Major Trade Routes from 1200-1450. The links are posted at the bottom of Units 1-2 Resources. Write and outline for each that covers content (historical information) and strategies (for the AP Exam). Each outline should be 2/3s of a page. You can do all three outlines on two sheets of paper right? (2/3 + 2/3 + 2/3 = 2). Math people check my calculations and verify that I'm correct please........ 3. I will be hosting one of my "world-famous" Zoom sessions tomorrow at 1:30 P.M. Please sign in to AP Classroom and read the Rubber Production Brazil vs Congo DBQ (Unit 6 Progress Check - FRQ Part B). It has five documents - perfect training for the AP Exam! There are three things that I would like you to have completed before we discuss it at 1:30. They are as follows:
HWG & APWH
